I just love those big combs and waddles!

All the girls are in full production mode now, we've had 6 eggs every day for the last 5 days. A few days ago we were inspired by "Master Chef" and had poached, soft boiled, and "sunny side up" eggs for breakfast. Delicious!

We are back from a short vacation and the chickens are glad to be stretching their legs and wings again. As a special treat they got to be in the garden and stripped my broccoli plants...

One busy chicken

Our first egg!!! It was laid while we were on vacation, so we're too scared to eat it. It's probably cooked anyway, since it's been near 100F for a couple of days.
